TIDES
Description-
The west side of the cove is protected from the prevailing swell. Sandy beach entry even at low tides. So tides aren’t a big factor for getting in the water here. The rocks have a nice cover of coral. There are small corals tagged here probably as part of a scientific study. The water depth drops off so if you like a litter deeper dive this is a nice site for that. There are shallows but not extensive and of course they can be surgy with the swell. Water temp in January was low 70s and a 3mm long sleeve top kept us warm.
The East side of the cove is not as protected from the swell, and similar to the other side it has deeper coral covered rocks.
